Begin the trip with an exciting white water trip down the Reventazon River in Turrialba. (Min. age 9 years.) Then travel in van and boat to Tortuguero on the Caribbean coast to kayak the backwater creeks of the National Park and perhaps see the Atlantic Green Turtle lay her eggs on the beach (June to Oct. only). Your last destination is Esterillos Beach on the Pacific, where you’ll have two full days to explore the area at your leisure.
