SELF
DRIVE ITINERARIES
If you love to drive and are bored by driving in the US, renting
a car and driving in Costa Rica might just be the adventure of your dreams.
It can also be a nightmare. If you choose this route, be aware that driving
conditions in Costa Rica are terrible: pot-holes, few road signs and drivers
passing on blind curves - sometimes all at once. Read

ITINERARIES
These itineraries include places such as the Corcovado Tent Camp,
whitewater rafting with camping (one-day raft trips are Moderately Strenuous),
demanding hikes, and long horseback rides. Potential guests are expected to
be aware of the nature and demands of these trips and judge whether they are
suited for this experience. Emotional balance, maturity, and spirit of adventure
are essential qualifications.
