On this trip you are the special guest of Costa Rica Expeditions’ River Guides, who will share with you the history of the Pacuare and the culture of the people of the mountainous Turrialba region. Your guides – turned white-gloved waiters - will also treat you to a gourmet riverbank lunch in their outdoor “river restaurant.” The Connoisseur Rafting one-day tour runs year-round and is quoted upon request. PACUARE PASO MARCOS RUN - CLASS III-IV (71RFT06) Duration: Full day (12-mile run) Price: US$149 This trip leaves from Turrialba and is for the expert rafter, with almost continuous class II-IV rapids. Min. age 15 years. Min. of six participants and advance reservations required.

PACUARE RIVER RAFTING - CLASS III–IV (72RFT07) Duration: Full day (14-mile run) Price: US$99 This is the conventional Pacuare Rafting experience, taking you down one of the most beautiful river canyons in the tropics. On this Connoisseur Rafting trip you are the special guest of Costa Rica Expeditions’ river guides, who will share with you the history and culture of the people of the mountainous Turrialba region. Includes a gourmet lunch served by your guides at their outdoor, “river restaurant.”

PEÑAS BLANCAS RIVER SAFARI - CLASS I (73RFT06) Duration: Half day (5-mile run) Price: US$69 This tour begins in the Arenal/La Fortuna area and takes you down the Peñas Blancas River for a two-hour float trip dedicated to wildlife observation. (Min. age 5 years.)

SARAPIQUI - CLASS II-III (76RFT06) Duration: Half day (7.5-mile run) Price: US$75 Trip begins in the Caribbean lowland region and is perfect for first time rafters. After a safety talk, begin your day of rafting. (Min. age 8 years.)

SARAPIQUI RIVER - CLASS I-II (75RFT06) Duration: Half day (7-mile run) Price: US$75 This trip begins in the Caribbean lowland region. After a safety talk, head down river for a day of rafting. (Min. age 6 years.)
