White Glove Service...White Water Adventure™ - On this Connoisseur Rafting trip you are the special guest of Costa Rica Expeditions’ river guides, who will share with you the history and culture of the people of the mountainous Turrialba region. Includes a gourmet lunch served by your guides at their outdoor, “river restaurant.” A trip for families with small children (5 years or older).
The adventure begins when you meet your bilingual river guide at your hotel in San Jose. There will be no more than one other stop en route to a deluxe Costa Rican breakfast on the way to the river. Upon arrival at the put-in, your professional guides will give an orientation and safety talk. You will then proceed down river on a 7-mile run through Class I-II rapids. Strangler figs, Kapok and Poro trees line the riverbank. A gourmet lunch will be prepared and served by your guides turned white-gloved waiters. Mid-afternoon take-out where towels and a victory cocktail await. Drive back to your San Jose hotel (about 2 hours). Photo CD included. |
