What time will you pick me up?
- When we pick you up at the airport when you arrive in Costa Rica, we will give you an itinerary that has APPROXIMATE pick up times for tours and transfers.**
- The reason times are approximate is that for a variety of reasons in many cases we cannot be sure of the exact pick up time until the evening before the tour or transfer is scheduled.
- Rather than tell you pick up times are definite beforehand, when they’re really not, we think you’ll have a better vacation if we tell you times once we know them. We’ll know them the evening before the tour or transfer is scheduled.
- This is why it is vital for us to communicate with you on that evening; so you will know the exact pick up time.
- When you are staying at one of our two lodges, Monteverde or Tortuga Lodge, the front desk will give you the departure times for tours and for the next leg of your trip, you won’t be getting emails from us on those days.
- When you arrive at the international airport, your Transfer Guide will ask you for the email that you will be checking while here. We will send you an email every couple of days with the pickup times for your next activities and transfers.
- If you don't plan to check email, we will call you but, we may not find you by phone.
- If we don't have any other way to contact you, we will fax the pick-up times to your hotel, but we cannot always count on the hotels to deliver the fax. It helps to stop by the front desk and ask if there are any faxes for you.
